About this web site:
This web site is hosted on a Qnap TS109 which,
for anyone with a degree in geek,
is a cool thing even if it is a lot slower than a server in the attic.
My Qnap connects to Be Broadband which gives
me a 15Mb connection and
a static IP address. As well as hosting web sites it runs Slimserver which
allows
me to stream music to Squeezeboxes and a Transporter in the drawing room.
The Transporter is another must have geeks gadget!
Here is a
link to my music collection, which due to a bug I need to fix, only
renders correctly in Internet Explorer.
